I was teaching at UT today and I promised the class I would post some fun links for them here.
Live CD-ROM Operating systems:
- KNOPPIX: The gold standard of bootable cd operating systems.
- Knoppix-STD: Has a mostly functional copy of autopsy and a helpful directory structure.
- Helix: Knoppix variant for incident response.
- INSERT: Security kit that fits on a mini-cd.
- gnoppix: Live cd based on Ubuntu Linux.
