Of all the things in the world, Monroe and I played a holy-roller church last night. It was a fun crowd and we got to play some songs we’d never heard before. Being from the “quiet reverence” school of worship myself, I was a little taken aback a few times, but before I could think of what John Calvin would say Monroe would play something even tastier and force me to concentrate on the music. Also mad props to all the other musicians/singers from “Ambassadors for Christ”. They made me as comfortable as a Presbyterian in a Charismatic church is likely to be. I’m trying to get my son to marry Amaris, this family needs a drummer!
On a unrelated note I have some pictures from the party up. Thanks Aunt Sheila! I’m using PGTK to organize/present the pictures. It’s not very featureful (is that a real word?), but it’s clean and commented. I notice an issue wherein not all the thumbnails are likely to load on the first loading, YMMV.
