Yay!  <\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow I go back to class for two days to get checked out on the new report entry system. (whee) It <i>has to be<\/i> better than what we&#8217;re using now.  <br \/>Also, it&#8217;s good for me because I really never got a chance to use the old one and am not too familiar with it anyway. Now, the one we had before that, wherein the cops scribbled a few lines on a form and some ladies upstairs typed it in as best they could, was pure genius.  <br \/>I got an email from the evidence lady the other day asking if she could dispose of some property from a 1992 case. I remembered the case when I pulled it up because there was the damsel in distress, shooting, running, heroic lifesaving, furniture destruction, and a huge fight for the shotgun to top it all off. My whole report was one paragraph that said something like &#8220;Mumpha Blumfa was arrested and booked into jail for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.capitol.state.tx.us\/statutes\/pe\/pe0004200.html#pe015.42.12\">discharging a firearm in a municipality with a population over 100k<\/a>.&#8221; <br \/>Seems funny to read about it that way.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mmmmmm.
