It&#8217;s pretty high, and they haven&#8217;t bothered anyone, but on principle I thought I should kill them. Mrs. Bumper brought me some long-distance wasp killing aerosol spray but I was a little short of being able to hit those things. My first try was to haul out the ladder and climb up to the nota step (I think &#8220;nota&#8221; is Spanish for &#8220;step&#8221;). Well, I was still not quite making it. So, in a fit of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jwz.org\/doc\/worse-is-better.html\">Worse is Better<\/a> engineering I rigged up a <a href=\"http:\/\/lowdrag.org\/blog\/images\/20041020.jpg\">wasp-spray &#8220;bang pole&#8221;<\/a> using tape and the leg from a model rocket launch pad, climbed the ladder and gave those wasps a &#8230; light misting.
